Wind Turbine Assessment & On Site Survey

As windspeed is so critical to the performance of a wind turbine, the first thing to determine is whether or not you are in a good location for a wind turbine. Look up your average annual windspeed by clicking here. If the figure in red on our windspeed map is 5m/s or more it is likely that your site is suitably windy.

Don't worry if you think the figure for your location is too low - the data used in this application is from the National Windspeed Database, which is a computer model, so is indicative rather than precise. Also, each figure represents the data for the square kilometre it is centred on, so there will be discrepancies according to local topography, particularly in hilly areas where contours change rapidly.

The next stage is for you to contact us for a desktop assessment and to answer any questions you may have. After this discussion we can then arrange a site survey at your property. This will allow us to identify the best location for the turbine and to give you a fixed price quote for your wind turbine installation.

To discuss your site, ask any questions about wind turbines, or to arrange a site survey please call us now on 0845 094 9488 or 01981 241 668 or email enquiries@nextgenerationturbines.com  or use the contact us form here.
