Selling your electricity is as easy as changing electricity suppliers.

There are lots of electricity suppliers who will buy the electricity, and they all offer slightly different rates. We can give you a comparative information to help you make this choice.

At the moment we are recommending Good Energy, who will pay you 9p for every unit (kWh) your turbine generates - even if you use the electricity yourself.

Don't ask me how they do it, but you can see more information here.

This means that each unit is worth about 20p - i.e. you are paid 9p for the unit, and you haven't had to buy it at say 11p.

If your Skystream generates 5,000 kWh per year that's £1000 per year.

As electricity prices continue to rise, the payback period for your investment correspondingly reduces.
