Groundworks & Installation for Skystream wind turbines

The ground works necessary to install a Skystream wind turbine are not complicated and can easily be carried out to the specification we provide by a competant DIYer, builder or groundwork contractor. We encourage customers to organise the groundworks themselves since this will be the most cost effective option. Obviously if you would prefer our wind turbine installers to organise the groundworks they will manage this process for you.

The groundworks should be completed two-three weeks before the installation and commissioning if the turbine itself, so the concrete has time to harden. The subsequent erection, connection and commissioning of the wind turbine should only take a day.
